The Vision Behind, "For All"

And they sang a new song, saying:
“You are worthy to take the scroll
and to open its seals,
because you were slain,
and with your blood you purchased for God
persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.”
— REVELATION 5:9

I'm Mike Taylor, the Worship Director at Forefront Manhattan. I'm excited to finally have this album released and for you to hear all of the songs. It's been awhile since I wrote the first song for this project, You Are My All, which the amazing Allison Moll guest sings on the record. Here's a little of the vision behind the title track For All...

I wrote For All after reading an in depth book on the biblical theology of race, called ‘From every people and nation’ by J. Daniel Hayes. I was also inspired by the verse in Revelation (above) as well as the parallel verse in Daniel ...

He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him
— DANIEL 7:14

There are dual themes in For All: the powerful image, of joining together with people from all over the world, from every tribe, language, people and nation and singing 'Worthy is the Lamb'. The second is found in the fact that Christ died for all people, knowing that some of us would accept his grace and some of us wouldn’t. He still died for all.

The album available on iTunes, Apple music and Spotify.
