Celebration Generosity - some AMAZING news!
On March 2nd, at the end of a 5-week series on the Kingdom of God and how Jesus came to reveal the character of God through the way He taught, healed, forgave and fed others, we asked each of you to give an offering that would bring healing to others through the good work of three organizations...AND GAVE YOU DID!
The powerful and inspiring words from the apostle Paul now ring as true of our church community:
"Entirely on their own they urgently pleaded with us for the
privilege of sharing in this service to the Lord's people."
The three organizations we partnered with are Orchard Group (specifically, the Harlem Church Plant led by our former Leadership Resident Jordan Rice), Brooklyn Jubilee, and Bowery Mission
I was personally blown away by the offering; with a higher % of givers than ever before we were able to give away $119, 450! That's really unbelievable! Renewal is happening because GOD IS USING YOU to bring it to New York City!
I am so thankful to be a part of such a forward thinking, generous church.
