Holding Onto Faith as LGBTQ Christians

  • St Bartholomew's Church (Room 33) 325 Park Avenue New York, NY, 10022 United States (map)

Queer Communion, Forefront's LGBTQ ministry, is inviting anyone who's interested to come to an event hosted by Grafted, a city-wide LGBTQ Christian organization, that will feature a talk and discussion led by Matthew Vines. Vines is the founder and executive director of The Reformation Project and author of God and the Gay Christian: The Biblical Case in Support of Same-Sex Relationships.

In this forum, Matthew Vines will lead a discussion about what it means to hold onto our Christianity in a time when we have lost trust in so many of our former mentors and leaders, as well as the unique role and opportunity LGBTQ Christians have to reshape and renew the church's moral witness for the future.

There will be food and refreshments to follow. Enter through the red door on 50th street (between Park and Lexington) and ask the guard for the Grafted forum.
