“Then all the disciples deserted him and fled.” - Matthew 26:56
Holy week is filled with a loss of hope, faith, and loyalty. When Jesus was captured, all of his disciples fled into smaller, splintered groups hiding from the religious authorities.
Would Jesus return or was this the last time they would ever see him again?
For Holy Week this year we have decided to honor this “scattering” we see in the gospel stories by scattering ourselves into some smaller, more intimate, even hidden worship gatherings as we remember what it it must have been like to lose a Redeemer, a Shepherd, and Friend, who was betrayed, captured, crucified, and placed into a grave awaiting the resurrection.
Space is extremely limited, so please RSVP below to attend Scatter.
**Please note that the event Wednesday, March 23 is at capacity.
